Holiday Bright Lights (HBL) has been making seasons bright for over a decade. We are a factory-direct wholesaler that specializes in providing retail stores and professional decorators with commercial-grade holiday lighting and décor products. 

HBL is looking for an Operations Analyst who will be responsible for managing operations processes, increasing efficiency, and reducing cost. This role involves assisting in logistics day to day management, inventory management, overseeing operation processes, and being the backup for the operations team. This position will play a critical role in process improvement, cost reduction, and contributing to the overall success of the supply chain and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Works with Operations Manager to ensure the Operations Team goals meet current and future business requirements

• Oversee operation processes and ensure efficiency is maximized with current access to softwares and tools

• Book, manage, and track all international freight

• Manage all internal sources of information for HBL team to review data

• Assist in inventory management by reviewing historical sales data, working with the sales team to create a forecast, and reducing excessive inventory

• Assist with key account customer management, whether direct or indirect shipment deliveries

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to monitor lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules

• Generate reports on inventory performance, including stock levels, turnover, and forecast accuracy

• Create and manage purchase orders, from material acquisition to delivery to HBL customers

• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory counts and smooth logistics operations

• Act as the HBL representative communicating with factories on discrepancies and order details

• Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems or process improvements

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field and/or four yrs. experience in operations, logistics, demand forecasting or related analytical role

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with both factories and cross-functional teams

• Microsoft 365 product advanced knowledge

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

• Experience with some or all the following applications a plus: Sage 100, CIMCloud, and/or Airtable

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory control principles

• Dedication to providing great customer service

• Experience with managing client/vendor relationships

• Practical knowledge of lighting industry a plus
