PRODUCE MANAGER (FT) - Scottsbluff Main Street Market

Scottsbluff Main Street Market is seeking a highly-motivated, customer-oriented individual to join the Legacy Coop team as a Produce Manager.  As a Produce Manger, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the produce department, ensuring that the highest standards of customer service, product quality, and safety are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, knowledge of produce and food safety regulations, and 3+ years of retail sales and management experience.  

The FULL-TIME position comes with Legacy Coop's excellent full-time benefits package including competitive pay, vacation and sick time, retirement, and paid holidays.  This position is IN-PERSON so the ideal candidate would live in or near Scottsbluff, Nebraska. 

Key responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Greet and assist customers with their produce needs in a friendly and professional manner
- Ordering, Stocking and rotating produce items to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized produce department, including displays and storage areas
- Manage inventory and pricing. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Training and supervising staff on safety and sanitation standards.  
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to provide helpful recommendations to customers

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in customer service/retail management preferred
- Knowledge of produce and food safety regulations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
