Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant #NOW HIRING

Position: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN

Hourly: $28-$40/hour, 30 hours guaranteed with full-time position

We pride ourselves in our collaborative approach with caregivers, therapists, and other medical professionals. Our clinics in Omaha and Bellevue are multidisciplinary with physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies providing services to patients of all ages. Position Overview:

We currently have full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available. If you are a fun

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

• Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and report progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the care team to support coordinated, patient-centered care.

• Assist with patient transfers, gait training, and the use of mobility equipment such as walkers, orthotics, or adaptive devices.

• Encourage and motivate patients to actively participate in therapy and work toward individualized goals.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Nebraska and/or Iowa, or eligibility to obtain licensure.

• Experience working with pediatric patients in a therapy or clinical setting, preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Ability to implement treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist and adapt interventions to meet the individual needs of each patient.

• Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Knowledge of safe patient handling techniques and proper documentation of therapy sessions.
